“ My girlfriend and I went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30, and there was a large group who ordered a bunch of sandwiches in front of us. The three workers busted out their order and got to ours quickly. They were very polite and professional and food still came out great. ”
“ 4 stars for the food, 1 star for the cleanliness. I haven't seen any reviews for this location in years but one in 2018 mentioned how dirty it was. I got there 2 minutes after they opened and was not at all impressed with how dirty it was, where the food was being prepared and where the soda and tea dispensers were. I had pause about even ordering food there but took a chance. Sandwich was good but if I visit this location again and it looks dirty I won't go back. Hopefully the owner/manager of this location will read this and do something about it. Food poisoning is not fun. ”
“ I haven't eaten here in a long time...probably twelve years as I was addicted to their cookies when I was pregnant and it did not go well for my waistline. Anyway, returned today with my (different) son who was on break from his job nearby and WOW. This place is CLEAN. Every staff member was cleaning something when a customer wasn't in there. Floors were spotless. Bathrooms were spotless. Tables were...well, you know. Food was hot and fresh, if not pricey. But this was an immaculate restaurant. Kudos to the staff and the owners. ”
“ If you like a good grilled sub sandwich, and haven't tried Penn Station, what are you waiting for? They have some of the greatest subs and they have the freshest meats. I prefer the Dagwood and pile it with the different choices of meat and toppings. The fresh cut fries are a must! They are probably the best fries you will ever eat. ”
“ So we move all the way out to Illinois...before I hear of this "east coast subs" shop. My wife says let's go to Penn Station subs a few days ago. I finally listened to her and today we went. Thank you dear one! I have been to Geno's and Pat's, arguably (at least in their minds) the birthplace of the Philly Cheesesteak. My sandwich a little bit ago was the best version of that sandwich I have had so far. There were no missed notes. The bread held up perfectly, the meat was excellently seasoned and cooked, the onions, mushrooms and pizza sauce made for a delightful mess. I have proud sauce spots on my shorts and shirt! The staff is bright, friendly and efficient. The three guys working Sunday night are equally knowledgeable of the chain and their products. They care about what they are serving and man does it taste like it. My wife had the 8 in. club and fries, I got above mentioned perfection on 10 in. and fries. We are both stuffed and happy. We will definitely, definitely be back to this location. Super job Penn Station, a little higher cost than some competitors and worth every penny. ”
“ Just stumbled on this as I'm new to town. Very good Italian sandwich lots of veggies and loaded with flavor. My wife didn't think teriyaki had very much flavor. That's the only reason I don't give it 5 stars. But all in all it's worth a trip. I'll come back for sure ”
“ Just ate here and this Penn Station redeemed itself.... 8 in Italian and Hot Fries spot on! Not sure what happened on previous visit review where the Philly was literally the circumference of a fifty cent piece including the bread! But the Sandwiches are back on point and in My Opinion (and Many others) This is the best bread goin for sub shops, not to mention Fresh Cut Fries! (No lame bag of chips here!) ”
